We headed for the Mediterranean this season, in spirit if not in body – and in particular the isle of Elafonsi, known for its rose-hued sand, an earthy yet pastel pigment that had us thinking very much in pink. Our vision was for sultry separates and figure-skimming dresses that take you from office to vacation with a few simple switches, and from runway (the airplane variety) to runway (the resort fashion week kind) in equal style.
Nipped and darted waists were inspired by seashells, one of nature’s most beautiful organic geometries, but built with sustainable silks and flowing fabrics that ripple in the summer breeze. Our one-minute transformation concept may have been conceived for the city, but is ever more appropriate when you want to hop on the plane at the drop of a hat. We wish you a bon voyage, wherever the wind may take you – as well as a summer of blue seas, clear skies and never-ending sunsets.
